I agree completely that Daniel Day Lewis is quality look at Gangs of New York or There Will be Blood. You can't seriously say anybody could have played this part, DDL couldn't have touched Pesci in this scene, not sure if anybody could have topped this performance.

I'd give anything to go back in time and watch this on the big screen when it first came out, an absolute classic!! "You wanna laugh, this prick last week asked me to christen his kid, yeh alright $7000 I charge ya!" The dialogue of this entire movie is superb!
