Okay people here's the point, their target demographic is people who don't speak English right. But who understands the commercial, people who speak English. Obviously when the people who understand the commercial hear it they are going to laugh, and the people who don't will have to ask "What is so funny?" and then the people who do will have to explain it to them and this will make them want to learn English. The ad works. I've had this happen, when I watch Anime in Japanese with my friends.

But if they didnt know english in the first place they wouldnt get the advert
